Longford Dance Weekend

 

 

All roads lead to Longford this October Bank Holiday weekend

 

Dance Elite are delighted to announce our annual Ballroom Dance Weekend in the newly refurbished Longford Arms Hotel, during the October Bank Holiday Weekend from Friday 25th October to Sunday 27th October 2019.

This great weekend of dance consists of a welcoming wine reception and social dance on the Friday night with group lessons and workshops on Saturday and Sunday. The lessons and workshops are a combination of Ballroom, Latin, Waltzing and Jiving.

The highlight of our weekend is our Gala Dinner Dance on the Saturday night. 

Throughout the Gala Dinner Dance, there will be special group showcases demonstrating all the different dancers involved with Dance Elite over the years.

Also, it wouldn't be our dance weekend without our world famous Fun Jiving Competition, which will no doubt be highly contested!

The dance weekend is suitable for dancers of all levels. Beginners, social dancers and competitive dancers are more than welcome and no partner is needed..

The cost of this great weekend is €214 per person sharing, which includes:

Two night's bed and breakfast in the 3 star Longford Arms Hotel.
Entry to all social dances and all dance workshops throughout the weekend.
Three course Gala dinner with entry into our evening dance.

GETTING STARTED

The best way to start is with beginner group classes. These are especially designed for people who are new to ballroom dances. You'll cover the most popular dances, including the Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha, and Jive. You'll start right at the beginning, with the most basic steps. Before long, you'll feel comfortable enough to move on to more sophisticated steps.

TAKING IT FURTHER

After you get a little more familiar with the basics, most people want to move on to experience a little more. We offer technique classes that give you more information, so you can make those steps look even better and more polished.

PRIVATE LESSONS

For those who want to accelerate their training, learn specific dances in detail, or who wish to develop their dancing skills through competition, we recommend private lessons.
