I’ve never danced before and  I am nervous, do I need any experience?

Dance Elite’s Beginner Ballroom and Latin Dance courses are designed for complete beginners. No previous experience is needed and two left feet are welcome!

I have experience in another form of dance, what is the best option for me?

We recommend that you either attend a Beginner Dance Course to learn the basics in this new style of dance or arrange a private lesson where your ability will be assessed and we will recommend what is the best option for you.

What should I wear to my first dance class?

Wear comfortable clothes that allow for mobility and any shoes that you feel comfortable in. Please note that runners can restrict your movement!

How long is each class or private lesson?

A group class lasts for 1 hour. A private one to one lesson lasts for 45 minutes.

Do I need to have a dance partner?

 

No dance partner is needed to attend either our dance classes or private lessons.
